BUILT ENERGY, developed from an architectural practice originally set up in 1996, offers all facilities expected of Chartered Architects from architecture through to interiors and landscape. We specialise in two key aspects of the built environment that make a real difference in everyday life, namely accessibility and energy.

The disability discrimination act (1994) made it illegal to discriminate against people with disabilities in terms of service or access. We help building owners and service providers, not only to comply with this legislation but to embrace 20% of the population who cannot fully access their services. By promoting inclusive environments through design, adaptation and training, it makes access easier, not only for those with a disability, but to parents with pushchairs and even travellers with heavy luggage.

As Architects, we welcome new technology and promote energy efficiency. In 2008 we extended our training / services to cover the introduction of Energy Performance Certificates to N.Ireland. We carry out energy assessments with a team of highly qualified surveyors, who deliver our EPC service to both individuals and businesses across N.Ireland. Our online order facility offers individuals the opportunity to save money by ordering their EPC direct, with the knowledge that they are dealing with respected property professionals.
